There was so much detail in this book, but it was just the right amount. The warmth she felt from Malachiasz, I felt. Each description was so thought out that I could imagine what was being told. The story was so unique and fascinating that I immediately drew myself into the world. I absolutely loved it and I don’t know if I can explain how much it had me on edge. This book is probably my most surprised book of the year. Once I started reading it though, I could not stop.
Usually, when a book is very hyped I try not to get myself too worked up about it. I thought this book was going to be okay, but maybe not worth all the noise surrounding it. When I first heard about this book I thought it was interesting. “…but the truth was, for as long as she could remember, when she prated the gods listened. Let’s talk about the book that surprised me on how much I enjoyed it. I finally decided to open it up with the recent release of Ruthless Gods and I was blown away. Wicked Saints was 50% off at my local Barnes and Noble for the hardcover so I jumped on the opportunity to buy it. There was a lot of chatter about this book but I’ve found myself to be a little skeptical about really popular books because I haven’t liked some of them. I think this book is going to be that one.
